Empty Grid View

Hello everyone;

I just wanted to know if anyone has tried to display a gridview without data in it.

What I need is an empty gridview (initially) with visible headers and visible footers.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this feat?

CSS color shorthand

Just thought I'd mention, if you didn't already know, this CSS shorthand tip: you can abbreviate your hexadecimal notation to 3 digits if they can reduce to 3 pairs, such as 33ff44, which then is color: #3f4.

VS projects - not sending some files?

Has anyone had an issue with publishing a project in Visual Studio, and not having some files get published? I have a project with a bunch of pdfs in it, and even though I added a new one, it didn't get published. I made sure to include in project. I seem to recall manually copying these pdfs over in the first place, but I feel like I shouldn't have to.

Any thoughts?

Inaugural post

Hi guys,

As I mentioned a long time ago, I thought it would be helpful for us to have a blog. The 2 main positives I thought this would have are:
1) when posting about specific development problems, it's nice to blog about them because input from people other than our group may be useful, and
2) since it's archived and in a single location, we an eventually build a useful resource for each other. So the intent is to use this to post about generalizable issues you are having, or discuss interesting new ideas and technologies out there, share links to good articles etc etc.

I hope this works out!
